One island, three photographers, 100 years
Robert Moyes Adam, Margaret Fay Shaw, Craig Easton
Welcome to Mingulay

The Wardlaw Museum is free.

Since 1912, the island of Mingulay has been deserted.
In the absence of humans, nature has reclaimed it.

And yet, it calls us back.
Ach fhathast tha i gar gairm air ais.

And three photographers have answered that call.

Robert Moyes Adam visited in 1905 and 1922.
Margaret Fay Shaw spent summers there between 1930 – 1934.
Craig Easton went to Mingulay in 2021, one hundred years after Adam.
